3 follow-on courses (from YMFA training) on anxiety, depression and self-harm

3 excellent follow-on courses once you’ve completed the Youth Mental Health First Aid training. Our three-hour interactive workshops will equip you in the latest evidence-based tools and techniques, used by CAMHS, to support your most vulnerable students to recover and thrive. Workshops available are as follows:

1.Anxiety management using cognitive behavioural therapy techniques (recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence).

17 June 2019 | 23 September 2019 

2.Depression management using behavioural activation techniques (recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence).

18 June 2019 | 24 September 2019 

3.Self-harm minimisation using motivational interviewing techniques (motivational interviewing is a technique which endorses the principles of harm reduction and collaborative working recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence).

19 June 2019 | 25 September 2019
